As a collaboration of Silk Road Academy and Ceylan Ciltevi, the intensive 5-day educational program titled "History and Practice of Islamic Bookbinding" offers participants a rigorous exploration of the craft's theoretical foundations alongside direct, hands-on experience in classical leatherwork and traditional Islamic gilding styles. Throughout the seminar, each participant will acquire a profound understanding of traditional techniques and their authentic application, culminating in the individual execution and creation of a unique, classically styled notebook from inception to completion.
