Service Description

Persian through Codicological Texts Course is tailored for learners who already have strong proficiency in Persian and who wish to broaden both their language skills and their understanding of manuscript culture. Students will read and analyze original Persian texts in their calligraphic form. Emphasis will be placed on mastering reading and understanding unpublished first-hand materials and the styles of calligraphy common in Persian texts. Alongside close reading and translation, the course will introduce the historical context of Persian manuscript production, book arts, and textual transmission. The exact days and times will be scheduled based on the availability of both the instructor and the learners. * Once learners enroll, Silk Road Academy will coordinate the class schedule, process payments, and manage administrative details. * Silk Road Academy can issue invoices so learners can request reimbursement from their affiliated universities or institutions. * Class days and times may be adjusted in accordance with the request of enrollees. * Registered participants will receive full access to recorded session videos and all course materials. ​
