Service Description

Persian through Mystical and Sufi Texts Course offers learners the opportunity to engage with some of the most profound works of Persian spiritual and literary heritage. Through the study of poetry from classical Sufi poets and mystics, such as Rumi, Attar, Hafez, and important pieces of prose, the course focuses on the careful reading, translation, and interpretation of both forms of writing. Students will develop advanced skills in understanding metaphor, symbolism, and allegory, while also strengthening their command of sophisticated grammatical and rhetorical structures. Alongside linguistic training, the course introduces major concepts of Persian Sufism and mystical thought, highlighting the intersection of language, spirituality, and culture. By the end of the course, participants will be able to read and interpret challenging mystical texts with fluency and appreciation for their depth and beauty. The exact days and times will be scheduled based on the availability of both the instructor and the learners. * Once learners enroll, Silk Road Academy will coordinate the class schedule, process payments, and manage administrative details. * Silk Road Academy can issue invoices so learners can request reimbursement from their affiliated universities or institutions. * Class days and times may be adjusted in accordance with the request of enrollees. * Registered participants will receive full access to recorded session videos and all course materials.
